August Anything Goes with StickerYou!

Hello Blogland!  I hope you've

stopped here from Crafting by Designs and our

August Anything Goes challenge.  The Design Team

and I are taking off this month for a well deserved

break, but before we relax, we've got a TON

of projects made to get you going for the

August Anything Goes.

a sticker I made from StickerYou.  I was a little  hesitant

at first, but submitted 2 orders - one using my own image

which I'm saving to use in December, but the other was made

using their program that contains billions of images.  I decided

to make a floral sticker to jazz up my laptop.  

The image is so crisp, it looks almost real!  Be sure to stop

Use a Sticker

Hi everyone, Doris here with the last

challenge of February for Crafting by Designs.

For this week's challenge, we'd like you to

show us how you use STICKERS.

I'm a card maker and scrapbooker, but

as the owner/administrator of Crafting by Designs,

I'm also a planner.  I love planners and have quite a

few of them.  Sometimes I decorate my page but keep

it to a minimum.  My CBD planner has notes and 

dates all the way to the end of the year, but if I 

have time, I like to decorate a month at a time.

Typically I'll use the sponsor's logo and maybe

an image from their shop as a reminder

of who the DT will be working with as well as

assorted functional stickers and maybe a splash of

washi tape.

I've watched my fair share of "plan with me" videos, and

love the results of others, but simplicity works

for me with a little splash of pretty, especially

in the CBD planner.  So for my project for this week's

challenge, I decided to show this week's page 

in that planner, before and after I decorated.

At the beginning of each calendar year I print out

several pages of stickers made from the logos of

the CBD sponsors and maybe an image from

their shop so I know who the team will

be working with that week.  It's a good

way for me to add a little color to the page

before I add some functional stickers.

Hi everyone, Doris here with a

There are such beautiful collage images

at Lunagirl, and the DT was given some

fabulous vintage images to work with.

 

 

 I decided to make a planner charm using one

of my favorite images from the Women/Charms set

and started with a smallsilver frame.  Then I found a vintage

pearl dangly thingy - is that a crafty term?

I also made a ribbon and pearl tassle and attached that. 

 

I love how it turned out and think it

will look great attached to my planner.

Hi everyone, Doris here. Crafting by Designs is looking to add a few creative people to our Design Team. We're looking for people who like to be creative, have fun, and sometimes create outside of their comfort zone - is that you?

We don't have many requirements but as a member of the

Crafting by Designs team you'd be required to:

 

• Prepare a project for at least two weekly challenges per month and follow the theme of each, but you can play along with every one if you like 
• Meet our weekly deadlines for posting challenges and comments

• Use a digital image if supplied by a sponsor, and link back to their store or blog
• Host at least one challenge, theme of your choice, every 8 to 10 weeks
• Be willing to jump in when necessary to help out a fellow DT member
• Comment on assigned number entries every week
• Have an active blog and be willing to promote Crafting by Designs and our weekly sponsors by displaying a DT badge and links back to CBD and the sponsor
• We have a DT group on Facebook, so participation is preferred but not required
• Not be afraid to try something new and outside your comfort zone
• Love to have fun with a very friendly and talented group for at least a 6 month period 
• International applicants welcomed! We currently have members in the US, Puerto Rico, South Africa, England, and Sweden
