July Anything Goes Challenge at Crafting by Designs

Hi everyone, Doris here with a brand
new challenge starting today at
Crafting by Designs - it's my favorite,
Anything Goes!
This month we have 3 wonderful sponsors
and I made a project using an image from all of them.

I did a little paper piecing here and made a 4x6 card
for a Project Life layout

A little string of flat back pearls helped
finish off this little card

I used Birthday

I did a little more paper piecing here for this clean and simple
birthday card for a friend.

Head over to Crafting by Designs HERE by July 25
and enter your Anything Goes projects for a chance
to win of the prizes from our THREE sponsors!

Weekly Challenge 14-24
Birthdays

Hi everyone, Doris here with some
Pocket Page layouts for Cuttin' and Stampin'.

For this week's challenge, we're celebrating birthdays,
and I used some papers from the
Jillibean Birthday Bisque Paper line and stamp set.
These products and so much more are available at

My daughters know that when it's their birthday, I'm
going to take their pictures, no matter how old they get,
and this year was no exception.
The first is from my oldest daughter's
surprise 30th birthday party which had
an Irish/Scottish theme and was held in an Irish Pub.

Next is for middle daughter who asked for an
ice cream cake this year, and milk :)

And last but not least is the baby of
the family who asks for the same thing
every year - a big bowl of chocolate dirt cake!

As you can see, I used lots of bits and pieces of the
Jillibean Birthday Bisque paper and die cut elements
for each of the cards - this is a great set!

Come on over to Cuttin' and Stampin' and show us
your birthday projects by June 23.

Favorite Holidays Blog Hop

Hi everyone, Doris here with a new challenge for you,
and this time there's a fun twist - it's a

BLOG HOP!

You should have come here from the super talented Sharon,
but if you get lost along the way, the whole line up is below.

Our challenge theme is Favorite Holiday
and I have two projects for you today.
I chose to make projects  involving Valentine's Day.
It may be a commercialized holiday,
but it's just another excuse for me to remind those I love,
that I love them :)

My first project is made with this adorable
Cupid Turtle image from The Doodle Pantry

I have a "thing" for turtles, so as soon as I saw this image,
I knew it was the one for me :)

My next project was made using
Valentine's Day Better than chocolate

Chocolate and Valentine's Day go hand in hand, so I
couldn't resist this great colored image.

Next, I'd like to send a great big THANK YOU to our
THREE generous sponsors

BUT if you hop thru each of the blogs and leave a comment and

It's a Birthday Challenge!

Hi everyone, Doris here with a new challenge
for Cuttin' and Stampin'.
It's still June, and it's still birthday month in my
family, so I was so happy our new challenge this week is
Birthdays!
Weekly Challenge 14-24
Birthdays
The Design Team used the Jillibean Birthday Bisque Paper
line and stamp set. These supplies and so much more are available in the

Now for my little project:

I did some fussy cutting with one of the DP from the set and used
some washi tape as a divider between the stamped image and the
rest of the card.  On the inside I used a small piece of DP to
add a little pocket to hold a gift card (but for some reason I can't load that picture).

And there you have it - a clean and simple birthday card all ready to go.
Come on over to Cuttin' and Stampin' and enter your birthday
card project for a chance to win some wonderful goodies!
