Challenge: Chalk Board

October 15 - 21st, 2013

Hi everyone, Doris here today with a fun little chalkboard project for this week's challenge at Cuttin' and Stampin'.  Chalkboard paper and elements have been very popular lately, and I really enjoyed working with this MME Chalk Studio paper and embellishments, and Fascinators stamp set from Paper Smooches. 

 

I especially liked the paper because the sentiment was pre-printed, looked like it was written in white chalk but none of the mess!

I distressed the edges, added a little strip of washi tape and was done!

Ribbon and Lace

Hello blogland, Doris here with my project for this week's challenge at Crafting by Designs.  This week we're using some great images from Kenny K downloads along with our theme of using ribbon or lace.  This was a really fun image to work with - take a peek at Trixxie Treat:
