Paper Piecing!

Hello blogland, Doris here with a
new challenge from Cuttin' and Stampin.

This week the Design Team is
challenging you to try paper piecing.
I love doing that, stamping on some patterned paper
and fussy cutting or die cutting the image out
instead of just coloring it - it can
add so much dimension and interest to a project.

Here's what I made:

This little Pure Innocence image with the cupcake
was such fun to paper piece and the butterflies
added a little dimension.

Hop on over to Cuttin' and Stampin' HERE to enter your
paper piecing project by March 31 for a chance to win
some sweet goodies from the

Oh So Lucky with Cuttin' and Stampin'

Hi everyone,Doris here with this week's new
challenge at Cuttin' and Stampin'.
This week the Orange Design Team is getting their Irish on
for St. Patrick's Day. We made their projects
using elements from A Charmed Life by Simple Stories
which is available in the
Cuttin' and Stampin' Scrappy Supply Store HERE.

This collection isn't your typical all green,
St. Patrick's Day colors, they're
more muted with yummy blues and golds,
very non-traditional, but I just love them!

Here are two projects I made using this collection:

I used an embossing folder on the card base then
added a few different patterns and elements on this card.

And this card base also got embossed, while more
elements from the collection helped me
create a card that could be used for
St. Patrick's Day or just to wish someone good luck.

Come on over to Cuttin and Stampin HERE and add your
St. Patrick's Day or Lucky project by March 17
for your chance to win some goodies from the
Cuttin and Stampin Scrappy Supply Store!
