Exotic Asia!

This week we take a trip to Exotic Asia as our theme

and we're lucky enough to have

Here's my project:

 

 

This image is from the Japanese Gardens collage page and it contains

very prettyimages, it was hard to choose which one to work with.

I decided to emboss some kraft colored cardstock on top of a

black card base and did the same under the image which I

cut into 4 pieces to match the base.  It was

raining in NJ today and I couldn't get a better picture to

really show off the colors, but I think you get the idea.

Lace and Doilies

Hello blogland, Doris here with a

new challenge from Crafting by Designs.

This week we're playing with Lace and Doilies on our projects.

Both of

these can make a project look vintage, girly, dressy

or just pretty, so that's your challenge -

add one or both to your project.

 

And to help us out with our projects

our sponsor Lunagirl gave us a great collage sheet to work with.

Here's my little project:

 

 

In addition to the lacey digital image, I used a piece of

DCWV patterned paper with some doilies, and tried out some

clear tape with a lovely lacey doilie image on it and just

trimmed it to fit the piece of chipboard underneath.  Some

flatback pearls on the bottom and I was done!

It's time for Rainbows and Easter at Cuttin and Stampin!

Hi everyone, Doris here with a new challenge from the
Cuttin and Stampin Orange Team
 

Spring is finally here - yeah! Spring brings us Easter and Rainbows,
and that's our challenge this week.

This week the Orange Team is creating projects using the

Paper Smooches Spectum stamp set and Doodlebug Springtime paper line.

You can find them and so much more in the

Cuttin and Stampin Scrappy Supply Store.

Here's my little project

 

I decided to play up the rainbow and sun with bright Copic colors to make

them pop right off the page and cut some strips of patterned paper from the

Doodlebug Springtime collection along with a strip of matching washi tape,

and one-two-three this little card was done!
