More April Showers for May Flowers

April Showers and May Flowers, but

this time it's for a new challenge starting today at

Crafting by Designs!

 

This week we have 3 great sponsors and I

have 2 projects to share with you.

 

This first image comes from our first sponsor

For this next project I used an image from

our next sponsor 2 Cute Ink called Love Bug.

 

For this card I decided I wanted to use just what I had on my desk

and went from there.  The black card base already had

the circle cut out of it, so it served as a little window to the

inside of there card where the colored image is just layered on white and black

scallop circles and pop dots for some dimension.

Hello blogland, Doris here with a brand new challenge

at Cuttin' and Stampin'.

April is more than half over, and we can't get to

the May flowers without the April showers, so that's

this week's challenge - April Showers.

The Design Team has made some great projects using

the Pink Paisley Hello Sunshine stamp set and Paper Collection

which are both available in the

Cuttin' and Stampin' Scrappy Supply Store.

This was such a fun set to work with and

the paper and embellishments are just gorgeous.

Exotic Asia!

Hello blogland, Doris here with a brand new challenge from

Crafting by Designs!

This week we take a trip to Exotic Asia as our theme

and we're lucky enough to have 

Nicecrane as our sponsor and were given

beautiful collage sheets to work with. 

 

Here's my project:

 

 

This image is from the Japanese Gardens collage page and it contains

very prettyimages, it was hard to choose which one to work with.

I decided to emboss some kraft colored cardstock on top of a

black card base and did the same under the image which I

cut into 4 pieces to match the base.  It was

raining in NJ today and I couldn't get a better picture to

really show off the colors, but I think you get the idea.
