Hello blogland! It's time for a new challenge at Crafting by Designs, and this week's theme is one of my favorites - Anything Goes with a Twist. Our twist this week is Heritage.
Our sponsor, Digistamps4Joy , as well as one of our Design Team members is from South Africa, and September 24th they celebrate
Heritage Day. South Africa is a country with many diverse
cultures and this day is a way of celebrating their heritage, but also
creating new ways of living in harmony with all the other people in our
beautiful country. I was a little hesitant about making a project for this challenge when I first saw the digi images from Digistamps4Joy, but once I got started, the creative juices started flowing!
This is a Ndebele Hut, and families paint them is beautiful colors, each one is different. I chose to color mine in the red/white/blue of the USA, and this card will be going into my next box of cards for Operation Write Home.
